CONWAY, AR — The Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) celebrated its fifth graduating class of the Women’s Leadership Academy (WLA), honoring 25 women, the largest cohort in the program’s history.
“Watching this cohort come together, execute their service project, and show up for single moms in our community was one of the most rewarding parts of this year,” said Executive Director Shaneil Ealy, Ed. D. “We are so grateful to our sponsors for making this program possible, and to the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund for partnering with us to make this impact real.”
Proceeds from the project culminated in a brunch for single mothers and children and a $1,500 check presented to the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund at the graduation ceremony. “The Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund is incredibly grateful for the support of the WLA 2026 cohort,” said Jenn Morehead, CEO of the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund. “The single mothers in our program are going to school to create a brighter future for their families, and the inspiring women in this cohort invested in and supported them in a big way. We couldn’t be prouder to have been chosen as their service project partner this year.”
The Women’s Leadership Academy is a seven-month program dedicated to empowering, educating and connecting women across Arkansas through leadership development. This year’s milestone graduation was made possible by presenting sponsor Arkansas Black Philanthropy Collaborative and Genesis of Conway.
