Each year, the Women’s Leadership Network proudly honors a woman or organization who is boldly advancing women’s empowerment in our community through the Shelley Mehl Empowerment Award.

Named in honor of WLN founding member Shelley Mehl, this award recognizes those who lead with courage and a commitment to lifting women—creating opportunity, access and meaningful change along the way.

Nominations for the 2026 Shelley Mehl Empowerment Award are now open. Individuals and organizations may be nominated and will be invited to accept their nomination by completing a formal application. Applications are reviewed and rated by an independent committee ensuring a thoughtful and unbiased selection process.

The 2026 award recipient will be announced and celebrated at the WLN International Women’s Day Brunch on Friday, March 6 at the Conway Community Center.

If you know a woman or organization who embodies the spirit of empowerment and is making a lasting impact for women and girls, we invite you to submit a nomination. This is your chance to shine a light on leadership that truly matters.
